Dennis in Action

Dennis’ call to action started many years ago. Whether it was a call to action in the military, or a call to help a friend. The willingness to serve others no matter the challenge is one of Dennis’ strongest traits. As a well rounded leader, involved in a myriad of roles. He is now compelled to bring his skill set to the 10th District of Los Angeles as a positive change agent.

Environmental Justice and Climate Protection

Community Day Center for Children and Dynamic Waters Collaboration

Dennis applied to King County’s Water Works Grant Program on behalf of the Central Area Collaborative. His mission was two-fold. First, implement some type of environmental or stewardship project in the historically redlined neighborhoods. Second, to place women of color and small business owners at the forefront of any collaboration. In looking to continue the stewardship and oversight of the Central Area neighborhood business district and ensure it was not left out of any Green New Deal, Climate Protection or Environmental Justice conversations, Dennis brought together Community Day Center and Dynamic Waters and created opportunities that benefitted everyone involved…especially the community.

Voters are looking for candidates that can hit the ground running. Voters need candidates that know, live and work community issues because they are passionate about solving challenges. The community deserves to have their voices heard and an advocate who does just that. Now is the time to vote for strong leadership. Now is the time to vote for experience under adverse conditions. Now is the time to vote for Dennis Comer for City Councilman District 10.
